DNS & Domains

Connect a domain

Connect your domain registrar so DunOps can read your DNS state and propose record changes with a diff before touching anything.

How it works

1

Connect your registrar

Navigate to Settings → Integrations, pick your registrar (Namecheap, Spaceship, Porkbun, GoDaddy, etc.), and enter your API key or sign in.
2

List your domains

Ask DunOps Which domains do I have at Namecheap? — it lists all domains in the account.
3

Make a DNS change

Describe the change in chat — DunOps reads the current records and shows you a before/after diff before applying.

Note

DunOps manages DNS records on your registrar's nameservers. If a domain uses external nameservers (e.g. Cloudflare), connect that provider instead — that's where the records actually live.

Supported registrars

RegistrarConnect method
NamecheapAPI key
SpaceshipAPI key
PorkbunAPI key + secret
GoDaddyAPI key + secret
GandiAPI token
IONOSAPI key
Name.comUsername + token
NameSiloAPI key
DynadotAPI key

Each registrar's guide explains exactly which permissions to grant and where to find your credentials. Open any integration's doc page from the Integrations index.

Checking which nameservers a domain uses

Which nameservers does example.com use?
Is example.com using Cloudflare's nameservers?

If the nameservers belong to a provider other than your registrar (e.g. ns1.cloudflare.com), DNS records live there. Connect Cloudflare (or whichever provider hosts the zone) to manage records.
